Reflexology
"Reflexology can help the body to heal itself naturally"
What is it?
Reflexology is a complimentary treatment whose roots go back to ancient history, there is an image of ancient Egyptians providing reflexology. The feet, hands and ears have zones and reflex areas which correspond to all glands, organs and parts of our bodies. Reflexology uses the physical act of applying pressure to the reflex areas which promotes physiological changes in the corresponding area of the body. As a Reflexologist I use thumb, finger and hand techniques to achieve this. Reflexology can help the body to heal itself naturally while also being a way to support people to relax and mitigate the stresses of modern life.

My Journey
My love of reflexology dates back to 2015 following my cancer diagnosis I was amazed at how reflexology reduced my swelling caused by lymphoma leaving me feeling more comfortable. After this I had regular reflexology treatments and decided to embark on Level 5 reflexology with The Contemporary College of Reflexology in 2018.
Treatments
As a clinical reflexologist I will assess your needs and develop a bespoke treatment plan for you (often including a bit of homework) so that you can get the most out of the treatment. I am trained to work the Ears, Hands and Feet so please don’t let a foot phobia put you off trying this amazing treatment. Reflexology is a very safe treatment however there are some occasions where is would not be suitable for me to treat you. Please get in touch so we can discuss your needs.
I also offer NEPIP treatments which works both feet at the same time, I find this an amazingly relaxing and powerful treatment. NEPIP stands for Neuro, Endo, Pscycho, Immuno, Pody so it uses the scientific relationship between our nervous system, endocrine system, our mind/brain and immune system.
